Until Night Owl releases their Dick Head Roy mask, this will have to do. I am not a huge fan of this sculpt, but it does has it's charm. This one was sculpted by Jeremy Bohr and painted by Dark Side Studios. I am not liking the eyes, so I will have them repainted as well as the brows punched as apposed to glued.Not to knock the painter-- it is painted fine, I am just anal. With some added highlights and tweaks here and there this will be a show-quality piece! The pull is super thick so it stands up well as a bust- I think I will have it foam filled as well.
He does look damn good with my Crash hock- I love how the eyes are narrowly spaced, just like the Roy in the movie, which always made me laugh a bit. I do think the eyes need to be more hazel-gray than blue.
I wish there were more Roy pieces out there!
That is awesome. I agree, they need to get going and get a better rendition of Roy out there. I really like your hock. Spectacular job by Crash!
