RIP Danny Steinmann

Looks like the rumors of Danny Steinmann's passing are true. I wanted to wait until I mentioned it, but it seems that the sad news is true. His installment in the Friday the 13th franchise seems to be one of the most hated, yet I will always think it is easily one of the best.

A nice headshot of the sassy Anne "Annie" Gaybis, who's known to Friday the 13th fans as the lippy cashier at the general store in Part III. Gaybis is actually more known for being a singer and dancer and is still quite the looker today.

Back when I collected autographs from the cast I was in search of Jennifer Banko and never had any luck. I found about 4 or 5 Jennifer Bankos and all were not the correct one. I loved her in Texas Chainsaw Massacre III more than anything. This is a good find, though it was for sale on eBay for $30.  

Here's a great collection of (some) production photos from Friday the 13th: Part II and III on eBay. I won't say these are rare, but this one of Traci Savage is one I have never seen. The seller has a lot of other photos and there's a few here and there that are worth having.

Friday The 13th: Part III Shooting Location!

I am thinking about bringing back this blog after a few year hiatus; what do you guys feel about this.Right now the blog has a lot of dead links because I shut down my Imageshack account. Here we have behind the scene photos of Jeannine Taylor in Friday The 13th 1980. Most of these were for the gore shots cut out of the theatrical print of the movie and only scene in Europe until earlier this year when it was released uncut by Paramount Pictures.

I posted some screen shots, BTS videos and some roughly edited footage about 6-8 months ago of this fan film project a handful of friends and I were a part of. When I posted it I searched endlessly for this trailer that we made for it, but never found it. So, while I was cleaning out my external hard drive look at what I found! I added our silly "Shitron Video" logo at the beginning as well as a red band R rating disclaimer, but here it is.
