Friday the 13th: Part III 3-D Advert From 1982!

Friday the 13th: Part III utilized a new 3-D technique that used silver screens instead of the normal white. Friday the 13th: Part III became the most lucrative 3-D film of all time and that remained until Sky Kids 3-D and of course slaughtered by numerous movies since the recent 3-D craze in Hollywood.

Doug Benson presents Friday the 13th Part 3 (w/ live commentary!)
Doug Benson (Super High Me, "Best Week Ever") slides on in to the Cinefamily to present a unique spin on a beloved horror franchise classic. We all know Friday The 13th Part 3 is perhaps the most satisfying film in the legendary franchise (Jason gets his hockey mask! Hippies and bikers! All that creepy stuff in the barn!). We also know that Larry Zerner delivered the series' most endearing non-Jason performance, in the form of practical jokester/big-time nerd/venerated thespian "Shelly".

Friday The 13th Part III in 3-D to air on UK TV!

I saw this posted on the F13-Community and thought it was pretty rad that they are actually going to air this in 3-D! You will of course need the anaglyphic 3-D glasses (the red and blue ones) to see this in 3-D. It will be airing at 10pm Friday November 20th on UK TV station Channel 4, for more information on this here's Channel 4's site. So, all of you UK'ers who do not have the Friday The 13th Part III: in 3-D DVD or Bluray yet, here's a chance to see it for free!

Friday The 13th Part III 3-D propaganda

I am always on the look out for foreign advertisements for these movies, lobby cards, programs, ad slicks, etc. Here are some posters (one's a video case) for Part III- oh nostalgia.

Friday The 13th 2010: My Wish List

So, with Friday The 13th 2009 being such a great success we are being (blessed) with another installment-- probably in 3-D and if the rumors are correct without Derek Mears. Although Brad Fuller has said Mears will indeed come back, you never know. A couple months back some rumors surfaced that the chode Tim Sylvia will be donning the mask for the sequel and I have to say that would be a fucking mistake. Not only does his body look out of shape and portly, but he just does not have the body of Jason Voorhees.

Another rumor floating around is that the opening sequence will take place in the Winter, which has been something a good amount of fans has wanted for some time now. I'm on the fence about it as long as it's done right, it may work. I mean, Camp Crystal Lake supposed to be in the Northeast USA, which is infamous for it's snow so it makes sense.
