Here are some photos of Juliette from a recent Psycho reunion at a Fangoria Weekend of Horrors convention. I have to say that she is still as beautiful as ever. I did not like her hair in A New Beginning, but she was beautiful and I loved her in A New Beginning, Psycho III, Slumber Party Massacre II and Deadly Dreams (full frontal nudity FTW). Part II shooting location demolished.

Vicky on the Guts And Gory forum posted these photos of the Part II shooting cabins in Kent, CT. The land has been sold and the long standing cabins have been demolished and it's a shame. This follows the Part III cabin (arson fire) in shooting locations that are no longer standing.

So, I get asked a lot about my favorite movies to watch on Halloween. Realistically, you can never count out the obvious Halloween movies (i.e. Halloween) so I will do a top ten list. Most people's Halloween top 10 is chock-full of Halloween sequels, Universal Monster movies and Saw films- mine isn't. I think some people will be surprised with some of my picks.



10) Trick Or Treat (1986): Not only is this a Halloween based movie (hence the name) with that 1980's cheesy charm, but it has Skippy (Marc Price) from Family Ties with a kick ass mullet. The movie also has cameos by Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons. The story is also quite simple- the school outcast played by Marc obtains a demo from his late rock hero who died in a fire. The tape possesses him and he seems revenge against his tormentors. Even though this is #10, it's a MUST for Halloween viewing.

In Fangoria #22 Douglas J. White talks about creating the face of Jason and what inspired the look.

"The other task was the creation of killer Jason's makeup, a task what was created within some time limitations. We'd already been working on the show for almost 10 weeks when they came up to me to do the (new) makeup for Jason (Jason's makeup was previously done by Stan Winston).

Short Part III reunion

Of course being shot by Scott Goldberg, the video looks superb- the video has Paul Kratka, David Katims, Richard Brooker and Larry Zerner and is from Screamfest 2007.

Behind The Scenes Photos Of The Week: Tom Savini

Here's a few behind the scenes photos from Friday The 13th (1980) and Friday The 13th: Part IV The Final Chapter (1984) of Tom Savini doing his work. The first is Tom doing some touch ups on young Jason Vorrhees, the next is Tom doing some work on Mrs. Voorhees head that will be used in the decapitation and the last is from The Final Chapter, which is Teddy's head used with the knife impact.

Watching Friday The 13th: Part II (1981) and seeing the special effects you'd never have guessed that the special effects artist Carl Fullerton later became a twice nominated Oscar Award artist. The special make-up effects in Friday The 13th: Part II was not at all badly done, however they were pretty much non-existent because of the cuts made to the film to get an MPAA R rating.

Carl Fullerton was suggested to producers when Tom Savini turned down the film to do The Burning and Stan Winston was not available. Carl Fullerton apprenticed under special make-up effects legend Dick Smith and worked on such great horror films like Rituals (1977), Altered States (1980), Wolfen (1981), The Hunger (1983) and Warlock (1989). Fullerton also went into the mainstream and did effects for larger films Goodfellas (1990), The Godfather: Part III (1990), Philadelphia (1993) and pretty much every Denzel Washington movie since 1996 as Mr. Washington's personal make-up artist.
