Kimberly Beck stars in Season 1 (episode 7) episode of The Commish in 1991 titled Behind the Storm Door. Beck plays a woman named Michelle Carver, a woman who becomes infatuated with Tony Scali (Michael Chiklis), and even more so when he comes to her aid when she is beaten by her estranged husband. I haven't seen this, but Beck was just as stunning in 1991 ad she was in 1984. Here is a synopsis from IMDB:
When Michele Carver reports a burglary, Tony doubts her story but tells her to call him at the office if she has any more trouble. Puzzled by her claim that he is her knight in shining armor, when Michele calls again to report another intruder Tony realizes that she is actually pursuing him. Much to the dismay of his fellow officers, Jeff Hartley's religious beliefs prompt him to stop taking baths, while Officer Kelly offers to fix a traffic ticket in exchange for a date with an attractive young neighbor -- and then pays the fines himself in order to keep her interested.
When Rachel suspects Tony of seeing another woman, he refuses to respond to a late night call for help from Michele, only to learn she was taken to the hospital after being beaten by her estranged husband. Though Tony convinces her to get a restraining order to keep him away, Michele decides to drop her complaint after Richard apologizes. Meanwhile, when Tony confronts Officer Kelly about the tickets, Kelly agrees to stop, losing his chances at any more dates.
Officer Hartley files a complaint against Tony but, after having an opportunity to smell him up close, his union representative assures the cop that he could never win his case. . When Rachel goes to see a battered and bruised Michele, Tony realizes that she is still being abused by her husband. Though she insists on giving. him one more chance, when Richard beats her again and Michele finally fights back, Tony arrests him to put an end to the nightmare of abuse.

ReplyDeleteSo true once again my good friend. :) Indeed, she looked as delicious here as she did when filming The Final Chapter in late 1983, my birth year by the way.
Did you know that reportedly she was 29-going-on-30 when playing the scripted as 17-years-old still acceptable age to live at home Trish Jarvis? I never thought that she was a great actress but I ALWAYS was a fan of hers'. She reminded me of a long time back n the '90s ex-girlfriend of my one of my older brothers Erik's girlfriend that he had for over four years that eventually cheated on him--only Kim was much hotter in my mind & didn't wear prescription glasses. And plus Kim was always more toned & inshape from the film & television roles that she took.
I always adored women with builds like hers. Great post once again, my good man. ;-)
Even 6 years older she still looked good here
ReplyDeleteI used to love this show. It made a comeback in the early 2000s
ReplyDeleteYeah that is where I remember it from.
