I plan on taking this week to pay respects to the late Richard Brooker, who played my favorite Jason. Here is a great behind the scenes photo of he and the late Steve Susskind, who played Harold.
A TRULY great photo as I was telling Jack a few hours ago. ;-) I only just now saw it last night in a fabulous video tribute, to him on YouTube. It is a shame that Mr. Brooker has passed as the last three-plus days here YouTube has been flooded with quite well made given the time & circumstances of his untimely/quickie passing.
Over time his lovely wife that he leaves behind should give them a look---it can show her better hat he was VERY much so well-respected by he retro genre film loving & collecting community.
I also love the one of hi & the late Steve Susskind as well--notice the tobacco pipe in Richard's hand--it is the same one mentioned in the '04 boxset commentary track. I believe he gave up smoking much later on in life, though. So nice to see these truly. WONDERFUL selection there Jack. Mad respect ...
Yeah I always loved the late great Steve Susskind. Years ago as a young lad I saw him during Married With Children re-runs and I smiled, knowing immediately that it was him.
Yeah him & his on screen wife were always my favorite post-credit victims that were adults/non-counsaler types from the early half of the franchise. :)
these are great pix thanks for sharing. the one of brooker and susskind together is a great moment.
ReplyDeletePure awesome. Love that top pic so much.
