I am a huge fan of the whole 'women in prison' exploitation sub-genre of the 70s and even the 80s. This one isn't necessarily one of those flicks, or even close. But we do get to see Amy Steel in prison, in a guard's uniform, with a shotgun (and rifle). So, yeah, it's well worth it. Women of San Quentin (1984) isn't that great, but I always love watching any film with our beloved Friday the 13th alum.

ReplyDeleteAh very nice! I was just lookin' up Amy Steel movies the other day day on Amazon.com but I already have what as been released by studios.
ReplyDeleteI saw photos of this on her official Facebook page. Looks cool. And yeah I'm not a "gun person" but it is cool to see her with a hunting rifle, indeed. :D Somethin' oddly beautiful in it.
"Ma'am, yes, ma'am" I 'd be happy to do time in Amy's custody..
