For your Friday the 13th pleasure, here's another location from Friday the 13th: Part III. This has been on a few blogs, but I think the entire area is really neat. Harold & Edna's store was filmed in the same vicinity as the Green Valley store where Shelly and Vera met the bikers. Even though it's a ways away, it's in the next canyon over.

Shameless Self-Promotion, Sorry.
I rarely self-promote. In fact, this is probably only the second time. Anyways, I have a slew of music and movie-related T-Shirts on eBay including some old DeadPit.Com Horror Talk Radio T-Shirts. Have a gander at my eBay store.

Sleepaway Camp II & III Filming Location: Waco, Georgia
![]() |
Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3O_aYDUF7E |
Here are a couple videos from the summer camp where Sleepaway Camps 2 and 3 were filmed, in the town of Waco, Georgia. It's really sad to see how quick after the movies this camp started to go to shit. It's basically nothing but ruins now and slowly falling apart.
This land is now private property and the owners warn that the land is dangerous.

Robin's Uncut Death in Part V
Here's a snippet from Robin's uncut death in Friday the 13th: Part V, A New Beginning. Most of the uncut photos that have surfaced never included the blood spurts.
I still say that A New Beginning suffered the most catastrophic gutting by the MPAA. It is a fact that more footage was removed from this movie than The New Blood.

Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning Filming Locations
I made a post regarding the filming location for Tina and Eddie's death in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning a few months back according to quasi directions given to me by John Robert Dixon about 6 or 7 years ago. Well, that location that I posted was not right.

Kimberly Beck in Nightmare at Noon (1988)
It's been a great while since I have seen Nightmare at Noon, also known as Death Street USA. To put it nice, it is a B-rate Sci-Fi turd that clocks in at over 2 hours long. It also stars Bo Hopkins (one degree of separation; he was in Sweet Sixteen with Dana Kimmell!) George Kennedy, and Wings Hauser. The movie in a nutshell is about evil scientists putting a questionable substance in the town's water supply, which in turn drives the residents to become blood-thirsty.
The movie was directed by Niko Mastorakis, who also did The Wind and The Zero Boys, which also connects him the the Friday the 13th franchise. The post art for The Wind was also used for the Turkish release of Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning and the Zero Boys had a scene shot at the legendary cabin at the Veluzat Movie Ranch, which was of course used in Friday the 13th Part III.

Jason Lives 1987 Calendar
Here's a really cool 1987 cloth calendar to promote Friday the 13th: Part VI for video stores. I may not be a huge fan of this movie, but am a huge fan of this video-store nostalgia as well as old-school slasher (particularly Friday the 13th) marketing memorabilia.

Ghoulies (1985) Filming Location
This mansion used in the 1985 film Ghoulies was an actual residence located at 1824 North Curson in Hollywood, California. The Wattles Manson was the winter home of Nebraska banker Gurdon Wattles. A non-profit organization called Hollywood Heritage refurbished the home and land. They turned the land over to Los Angeles Parks and Recreation department in 2009.

Ted Survived... Freddy Krueger
Ted is most well known for surviving Jason in Friday the 13th: Part II, but I guess it may come as a surprise to many that he also survived ole Freddy Krueger as well. Okay, maybe it wasn't in one of the movies, but the T.V. series Freddy's Nightmares count, doesn't it?
A big thanks to LairOfHorror.com for putting this put there. Take a look at the trailer for the Season 1, Episode 6 of Freddy's Nightmares.
