I Have Warned Thee...

Clem David Wiechman (David Wiley), who's known to Friday the 13th fans as the resident prophet of doom Abel in Friday the 13th: Part III had a long career in show business, but is more known as a recording engineer to many stars including Elvis Presley. Here's something I found about him on www.Elvis-collectors.com.

Japanese Jason III Revoltech Playset From Kaiyodo

from: cartoonandhorror
Japan always has the best things and this Friday the 13th: Part III Jason Voorhees is evidence. Now long in print and I am a bit behind on posting this, but it's still a good find for those who do not know about this yet. It's easy to find on Amazon for anywhere from $45 to $60.

A Shot of the New Owner of the Jason "Hero" Hockey Mask

Dick Warlock with Dario Latinovic; from yourprops.com
So, by now it's very old news that Dick Warlock sold his beloved hockey mask. And for those Friday the 13th nerds out there-- like me-- who salivated over this mask combo for years, here's a nice shot of Dick passing the reigns over to the new (and obviously proud) owner Dario Latinovic. This is the screen-used hockey mask worn by Jason in Friday the 13th: Part III (at the end), IV and V and used as a template for the masks used in the later films. It's definitely an important one-of-a-kind piece of Friday the 13th memorabilia.

Martin Cummins... You're An Asshole

Martin Cummins (Friday the 13th: Part VIII) gets into an anti-abortion debate with  Karen Cambpell on a Canadian TV show Pilot 1.  The crowd seems to side with Karen, who is pro-choice.

I do think Martin makes some valid points, though.

News Archive: Stuntman Claims Actors Unnecessarily Endangered

Ted White and Judie Aronson
Most Friday the 13th fans are more than aware of the story of how Ted White lashed out against The Final Chapter's director Joseph Zito when he refused to let actress Judie Aronson have a break when filming her death scene where she was submerged in near-freezing water. White claims he threatened to quit the film if he did not allow her to rest and warm up or get a stuntwoman to do the scene. Years later Aronson claimed that she was hypothermic and became ill after the fact and blamed it on Zito.

Warlock Clone Perfection

Since I have more time I have gotten back into blogging and reading blogs. This one came from my visit to the JasonLivesSince1980.Blogspot.com site and I think it's easily in the top 3 replicas I have seen. Obviously there's a few marks that are a little off, but overall it's about 98% exact-- and he may still be accepting commissions on these!

Go check it out.

Jerry Pavlon Now

Here are a couple recent photos of Jerry Pavlon (Friday the 13th: Part V) from his Linked-In page. He's now dealing with education with bi-polar and mood-fragile kids and has an organization in New York. Sounds a lot like where he did time in Friday The 13th: Part V!

Friday the 13th Legend: Part III Alternate Ending

from: Crystal Lake Memories
The alternate ending to Friday the 13th: Part III seems to be one of the more talked about lost scenes in the franchise. Here are excerpts from the Friday the 13th: Part III novel by Michael Avalone, a book written before the movie was finished based on the original shooting script. They are from Pages 186 - 200, taking up after the scene where Chris puts an axe into Jason's head.
