My Top 5 Final Girls in Friday the 13th

Kimberly Beck (left) as Trish Jarvis
#5 Kimberly Beck (Trish Jarvis, Part IV): I think that Kim was one of the strongest heroines of the franchise, and most definitely the most positive female being a big sister and a mother-like figure. Apparently Kimberly was in her 30's when she portrayed Trish Jarvis and is now in her 50's and still looks good.

Remembering the Unknown Jasons

Roy Burns stand-in doing a kill scene
When you say the name Jason many names may come to mind; Kane Hodder, Ted White, Richard Brooker, C.J. Graham or maybe even Steve Dash. This entry is dedicated to all of those people who played Jason- even for a scene- and never gets mentioned.

Remembering the unknown Jasons Part 2

Read part 1

Tom Savini:
Some people really find it odd that Tom Savini donned the Jason attire for (at least) a scene in Friday The 13th: Part IV. Tom Savini is known for performing the intricate kills in the movies that he does special effects for, as seen in behind-the-scene footage for movies like Maniac and The Prowler. Here's Savini in the Jason suit killing the fat hitchiker.

Friday The 13th: Revenge

So many people have asked for this, and here it is. It's not really available anywhere else and was only available for a certain time. Director Josh Brown is in the middle or re-editing it, but I am not sure if/when that will be available.

Mahakaal: Freddy's Indian Invasion!

Here's a movie called Mahakaal (The Monster) from India. This caught my eye because it is essentially an A Nightmare On Elm Street ripoff- hell it's a down right plagiarism. I think it's hilarious to tell you the truth.

Here's a review from DVD Beaver on this film.

Doug Benson presents Friday the 13th Part 3 (w/ live commentary!)
Doug Benson (Super High Me, "Best Week Ever") slides on in to the Cinefamily to present a unique spin on a beloved horror franchise classic. We all know Friday The 13th Part 3 is perhaps the most satisfying film in the legendary franchise (Jason gets his hockey mask! Hippies and bikers! All that creepy stuff in the barn!). We also know that Larry Zerner delivered the series' most endearing non-Jason performance, in the form of practical jokester/big-time nerd/venerated thespian "Shelly".

Dbach's Hangman.

Finally got one of these, awesome AWESOME piece, really good price. I had some cash left over from some masks I sold on eBay to pay my CC bill, so it was so worth it.

Check out more photos at the Night Owl Forum.

Help produce Scott Goldberg's "The Forest Hills"

Scott Goldberg is a brilliant writer and director who needs help funding his first full-length movie called "The Forest Hills". Check out the Kickstarter page and check out the donation levels and what you get. Donate as much as $60 and get your name in the credits!

The Forest Hills is a short horror film, directed by Scott Goldberg, that touches on important subjects such as racism, society and rape, all wrapped up in a haunting horror story. We are raising funds for special effects will compliment the effectiveness of this film. $5,000 will allow us to compliment our funds and release a compelling story that will chill viewers to the bone. Yet "The Forest Hills" does not rely solely on shock value as do many horror films; it blends an intriguing story, a haunting premise, and the stunning and priceless abandoned scenery of the eastern coast, featuring locations such as Welwyn Preserve and various other scenic places on Long Island.
