Friday The 13th DVD still of the week.

Here we see Jason Voorhees (Tom Morga) and Tommy Jarvis (John Shepherd) in a scene where Tommy is having delusions of Jason in Friday The 13th Part V: A New Beginning. Most people say this movie was absent of Jason, but this is one of the few scenes with him. It's also mistaken that there were two hockey masks used in this film, when there were actually 4; Roy's, the clean Jason mask with the reversed straps and full top chevron, the muddy mask and this Jason mask (which was the Part 4 mask).

Fan Film Friday: The Forest

After watching this piece of shit, I realized that I watched something very similar before. Shockingly this movie and the one it was similar to was made by the same person-- interesting. I guess remaking your own fan film over and over again is the cool thing to do? Not.

Instead of Jason being buried in leaves in the original, he walks up on the unknowing kid and plays around with him and finally impales him. That's it; that's the movie.

Crappy movie reviews Thursday: Joseph Clark's Massacre (2002)

Jeff (Joseph Clark) plans a weekend camping trip with his "friends" to help him get away and make sense of his problems, little does he know that the rest of his friends have similar problems. Jeff ends up freaking out (for no reason) and slaughters everyone one at a time. When none of the deaths make sense to him or his last remaining friend he then realizes a terrifying fact as his friend tells him exactly what has been happening.

Crash's most recent Part III.

Check out the rest of the pics here; I think these were made from JDF's clear PTEG blanks. As always, probably the most screen accurate that I have seen ever.

If you want a clear PTEG blank, hit JDF up; his turn-around time is much faster than other people providing the clear blanks and is so worth it!

(edit:

These were not made by JDF's clear blanks, but he still does up some nice ones!)

H2, HD trailer!

H2 trailer.

The Weinstein Company went Nazi on YouTube and had every and all H2 trailers removed, however here is a link to one hosted on a foreign server. Still, I think this one looks more promising than the remake, and hopefully it is better. People are still tripping over the fact there will/may be a maskless Myers in this film and that's sort of funny. I do understand the iconicness of the white mask, but at the same time it has been said that he will get another mak by the end of the film so... who gives a fuck? Halloween had an unmasked Myers where his face was shown and this will be no different in that aspect fo fucking get over it already.

Fan Film Friday: The Best Damn Sequel Period.

For the people who are not familiar with Braxtan Films, here's a rundown: they have made the best fan films from day one and continue to this day. Some of their more popular fan films are Friday The 13th: Again!, Freddy Vs The Ghostbusters and Return Of The Ghostbusters. This film-- The Best Damn Sequel Period is certainly not their best, but for first time viewers it really serves a lot of amusement. It's really hard to even comment negatively or positively on it because it is what it is... just a short, funny fan film.

Great David Katims interview.

It's from one of the more old school Friday The 13th websites out there, one of the best of it's day- if not the best. This interview was done up by the one and only Erik Nash.

Fan Film Friday: The Legend Of The Woods

Okay now, you know me-- I tell you like it is when it comes to fan films. This review won't be any different and rest assured I will spare no tears on this pile of dung. Yeah, yeah, I know-- this movie was made by kids, but House Of The Dead was made by a very experienced director... and some people will understand where I am going with this.

This movie starts off with some chode walking backwards in the woods and what do ya know... he walks into Jason... well what supposed to be Jason. The Jason we have in this opus of crap is wearing a red flannel jacket with what seems to be a Styrofoam plate fashioned into a hockey mask. But, let's not forget the awesome chain chilling on Jason's shoulders-- you know, so we know that this is the same Jason from Friday The 13th Part 7. So, he dies and then we cut to some kid and an ex-gangster from the gheto black kid reminiscing about how the town used to be cool... or something.

Friday The 13th 2009 hurdling towards 90 million worldwide!

According to www.boxofficemojo.com here are the figures for Friday The 13th 2009:

Domestic: $64,896,850 72.9%
+ Foreign: $24,112,932 27.1%
--------------------------------
= Worldwide: $89,009,782

If you want to keep up with these totals, HALLOWEENY on the Friday The 13th Forum has been doing daily posts to keep us up to date in this thread. I'd love to see this movie get to $100 million, but let's be honest-- that will never happen. Ninety-million is a good figure, and it passes Rob Zombie's opus of shit-- Halloween quite easily. Take that Rob, you Friday The 13th-hating motherfucker.

Oh yeah, while you are here read and add my personal blog!
