Friday The 13th: Revenge
So many people have asked for this, and here it is. It's not really available anywhere else and was only available for a certain time. Director Josh Brown is in the middle or re-editing it, but I am not sure if/when that will be available.

Mahakaal: Freddy's Indian Invasion!
Here's a movie called Mahakaal (The Monster) from India. This caught my eye because it is essentially an A Nightmare On Elm Street ripoff- hell it's a down right plagiarism. I think it's hilarious to tell you the truth.
Here's a review from DVD Beaver on this film.

Doug Benson presents Friday the 13th Part 3 (w/ live commentary!)
Doug Benson (Super High Me, "Best Week Ever") slides on in to the Cinefamily to present a unique spin on a beloved horror franchise classic. We all know Friday The 13th Part 3 is perhaps the most satisfying film in the legendary franchise (Jason gets his hockey mask! Hippies and bikers! All that creepy stuff in the barn!). We also know that Larry Zerner delivered the series' most endearing non-Jason performance, in the form of practical jokester/big-time nerd/venerated thespian "Shelly".

Dbach's Hangman.
Finally got one of these, awesome AWESOME piece, really good price. I had some cash left over from some masks I sold on eBay to pay my CC bill, so it was so worth it.
Check out more photos at the Night Owl Forum.

Help produce Scott Goldberg's "The Forest Hills"
Scott Goldberg is a brilliant writer and director who needs help funding his first full-length movie called "The Forest Hills". Check out the Kickstarter page and check out the donation levels and what you get. Donate as much as $60 and get your name in the credits!
The Forest Hills is a short horror film, directed by Scott Goldberg, that touches on important subjects such as racism, society and rape, all wrapped up in a haunting horror story. We are raising funds for special effects will compliment the effectiveness of this film. $5,000 will allow us to compliment our funds and release a compelling story that will chill viewers to the bone. Yet "The Forest Hills" does not rely solely on shock value as do many horror films; it blends an intriguing story, a haunting premise, and the stunning and priceless abandoned scenery of the eastern coast, featuring locations such as Welwyn Preserve and various other scenic places on Long Island.

He was so grotesque.
Crash Cunningham's sculpture of the late legend Stan Winston's Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th Part III. This face was used throughout the entire movie except the very end where his face was revealed- that face was done by Douglas J. White and Allan A. Appone.
Crash is an excellent artist and can't wait to get my hands on one of these busts!
Okay, a few things.
A lot of people have asked me why I don't update this as much as I used to. One reason, The Friday The 13th Films blog does a GREAT job reporting all of the Friday The 13th news, new toys, interviews and all of the other tidbits on the net. Hell, they do a much better job than I have ever did. I noticed that a lot that I post was also covered there, too. I feel that since it IS the Friday The 13th blog, they should be the ones in control of the Friday The 13th blogging.
Is www.scabboy.net dead? Nope, however I do have that domain pointed towards my Tumblr. page, which will have posts about (all) movies, my life, photos, music, etc. This horror blog will STILL be updated frequently, however it will revert back to it's old URL: scabbyhorror.blogspot.com.
So, update and change all of your bookmarks and if you have a Tumblr. account, ADD ME!

Dick Wieand in an Advair™ commercial.
Once again, thanks to CampBlood.net for getting this online. A lot of people have been asking me if I have seen it or where they can see it. For those who do not know, it's a commercial for Advair™ in which Dick Wieand (Jason/Roy in Friday The 13th Part V: A New Beginning) plugs the product.
Shavar Ross's ReggietheReckless.com open!
For all you A New Beginning and Reggie The Reckless fans alike! The store is ran by Shavar himself, so it's a chance to get these things directly from the man himself! Follow this link to his site or this one to his official blog!
Shavar has been one of the most generous Friday The 13th alum out there- signing for free only to have the people re-sell his signatures for $25 or more and there's always the fear that it's a reproduction or forgery. It's about time that he does this making it easier to obtain his signature as well as the comfort of knowing that it's authentic.
Code Red may ne re-issuing Madman!

Part VI sculpt close up.
This was posted on the F13-community forums- its a close up of what looks like either a sculpt of, or the actual make up appliance for Jason in Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives. I guess it is from an old Fangoria issue, I better go and look for it because I have virtually all of them!
I don't know, I just found this interesting since it's pretty rare that we a super up close (albeit not a great photo) of the face of Jason VI!
Manman Vs. The Burning
Battle of the Upstate, NY woods slasher films from 1981. Both films were loosely based on the same Upstate NY camp legend and ironically some of the actors in Madman auditioned for roles in The Burning. So, please cast your vote at the Dead Pit forums and represent! I think everyone knows my love for The Burning, be it cliche- I just love the overall look of the movie.

Bad movies anyone?
I threw some clips together from a couple movies that I consider to be awfully bad to the point where they are simply amazing. The first are clips from a movie called The American Scream which is a film about a family on a Christmas vacation in a Sierra Mountain town called Wilson Creek. Wilson Creek is a town of adults who really dislike kids and teenagers and ironically a place where families take their children to be killed by the town folk. Of course, the Benzigers did not get that memo!
The movie is cock-full of horrible acting, bad one-liners and scenes that just make no sense what so ever! Sadly, it's not on DVD at all and can easily be found floating around on VHS-- www.fleshwoundvideo.com also sells a bootleg/DVDr of it!

Friday The 13th: Part III original script excerpt.
Most of us fans know that the original script for Friday The 13th Part III differs greatly from what actually made it to the film. The original script contained a lot more scenes, longer sequences and more character development than we got in the end. Scenes like a car and motorcycle chase with the bikers and a scene where Chris and Rick speak about someone (Jason?) sleeping in her bed and rummaging through her belongings. Here's the original script excerpt for the scene where Shelly fakes his own death. This scene was written to be a lot longer with more scares.

Move or Rust with Dr. Paul Kratka
I have to say that I really dig what Kratka has been doing with Scott Goldberg and his website www.drkatka.com and the whole wellness/good health thing. If you're not impressed with this guy yet, just look how good he looks for his age. Think back to 1982 when he was in Friday The 13th Part III- he was one of the eldest cast members and he looked older. Now he looks 15 years younger than his fellow cast members! This video is not only informative, but as I grow older I have completely changed my lifestyle and I really dig people who do things like this!
